Dell expands the XPS family with the XPS 16 Creator Edition (DX16263) — a 16-inch premium laptop powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. It pairs a 3.2K Tandem OLED display with up to 128 GB of unified memory for creators and AI developers.
Dell Technologies introduced the XPS 16 Creator Edition (model DX16263) — the first XPS laptop powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. It targets video, 3D graphics and AI application workloads, as well as developers who want to experiment with AI models without constant cloud dependence.
According to Dell Poland, the device has been available since October. Commercial configurations, pricing and local availability should be confirmed when preparing an order.
NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X platform
The new XPS uses the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X, integrating an NVIDIA Grace CPU, NVIDIA Blackwell RTX graphics and unified memory. Depending on configuration, it offers 18 or 20 CPU cores, 5,120 or 6,144 GPU cores, and 32, 64 or 128 GB of LPDDR5x memory.
Dell states up to 1 PFLOPS of AI performance at FP4 for the top configuration. This is a theoretical platform figure, not a guaranteed result for every application.
On-device AI in a mobile PC
The standout feature of Creator Edition is NVIDIA architecture combined with a large pool of memory shared by CPU and GPU. That enables local prototyping, testing and running selected language models and generative AI tools without sending all data to external services.
In practice, the XPS 16 Creator Edition can serve as a mobile environment for:
- experiments with local LLMs and RAG applications;
- building and testing AI agents;
- developing and prototyping applications in the NVIDIA CUDA ecosystem;
- creative workloads accelerated by AI.
Model size, context length, memory bandwidth and driver/library availability affect real-world performance. Support for specific frameworks, CUDA variants, vLLM and local models should be verified for the target OS and device configuration. 128 GB of memory alone does not guarantee compatibility with every AI model.
OLED display for professional image work
The laptop features a 16-inch touch Tandem OLED 3.2K (3200 × 2000) panel with adaptive 20–120 Hz refresh. It covers 100% DCI-P3 and, according to Dell documentation, is factory-calibrated to Delta E below 2 with Pantone validation.
Typical brightness is 400 nits, with peak brightness up to 1,000 nits for suitable HDR content. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, high contrast and Dolby Vision support photography, video editing and design work.
Premium build and I/O
The XPS 16 Creator Edition uses a CNC-machined aluminum chassis, a glass haptic touchpad and a backlit keyboard. Thickness is about 17.8 mm and weight starts from 2.02 kg. Cooling uses dual fans.
Connectivity includes three USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1b, a full-size SDXC reader and an audio jack, plus Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, an 8 MP/4K HDR camera and a 99 Wh battery.

Who is it for?
Content creators will appreciate the wide-gamut OLED and performance for video, photography and 3D. AI developers can use it as a portable lab for local inference and prototyping. Project teams get one machine for demos, coding and on-the-go data work.
The XPS 16 Creator Edition does not replace every dedicated GPU workstation or AI server scenario. It is compelling where mobility, a high-end display and on-device AI matter as much as raw compute.
Summary
The Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition combines NVIDIA RTX Spark with a 3.2K Tandem OLED and up to 128 GB of unified memory. It targets creators and teams building local AI environments — with the caveat that real performance depends on configuration and software.
