From chatbot to an agent platform
Alterkom ChatBot is a conversational platform that lets employees use language models, enterprise information sources and specialised AI agents through one intuitive interface.
We develop it as part of the AlterAI ecosystem, where a classic AI chat can be extended with advanced search, document analysis, model routing and process automation.
ChatBot is the interface. Agent Router provides intelligent orchestration — routing tasks to models, agents and tools according to intent, security policy and environment configuration.

Conversation interface
altchat is the intuitive UI: new chat, searchable history, agent settings and the message field. It is the entry point — behind it, routing to multiple models and agents can run.

The Control Plane covers the agents and requests dashboard, policies, routing, routing tests, approvals, sessions and audit logs. One app can handle simple questions, enterprise-knowledge search and more complex processes — within configured policies.

Access and routing policies
An active policy version is immutable — editing creates a draft, and activation is what the router enforces. Policies can limit roles, allowed intents, external actions (e.g. require approval) and available agent tools.
Agent-based search
Search agents can split a task into stages and structure the answer. Available sources depend on configuration and permissions.
